PUPPY TRAINING
Introducing a new puppy into your home is an exciting new adventure filled with no shortage of love, paired with the occasional test of your patience. Getting started on the right foot will ensure you and your new puppy will live happily ever after. Whether it’s just you and your new pup, or you are adding to an existing family of people and pets, we’ll design a program together that will help lay the foundation of many happy years together.
PROBLEM SOLVING
We all love our furry family members, but let’s face it, sometimes we can disagree with them on what should be considered “acceptable behavior”. Troubleshooting solutions for common (and not so common) challenges can be daunting on your own and can often lead to even more trouble down the line. We’ll work together to develop strategies to help both you and your furry companion live in harmony.

- During this first call, we’ll get to know each other as we discuss your key challenges and goals.
- If we feel we are a good fit, we will schedule a first sesson.
SESSION 1
- Human introduction
- Dog introduction
- Review key challenges and goals
- Observe key challenges with you (and others in your household)
- Begin training
- Establish what to practice before the next session.
- Game plan what we will work on for the next session.
FUTURE SESSIONS
(up to 60 minutes)
- The number of sessions required will depend on many key factors including progress made between sessions, and your desire to continue working to achieve your goals. Some problems are more challenging than others, and each dog (and human) is unique so there really is no set number of sessions required.
- My goal is to arm you with the techniques you can use to achieve your courteous canine goals. Some of my clients are able to achieve their goals in as little as 1 session. Others prefer additional guidance and one-on-one problem solving. Some clients will start and stop training over time, depending on their progress and life situations. Most puppy training can be done in 6-8 sessions.
